The Feldenkrais Method®

The Feldenkrais Method is a wonderful way helping you with well being and all activities in your life through movement.  People who have tried many different complementary movement practices  are often surprised about the methods specific functional approach and its potential of learning. 

Feldenkrais brings you back to how you have learnt to sense, feel and move as a child but through adult life forgotten of the possibilities of using your body.  

The method can help with shoulder and back  problems, recovery from injuries as well as improving any physical activities.


The Feldenkrais Method was developed between 1940 and 1984 by scientist, engineer and respected Judo teacher Moshe Feldenkrais (1904 - 1984). 

In the beginning era of thinking about the possibilities of plasticity of the brain and how we as human beings can change habitual behaviour  Moshe Feldenkrais has been one of the pioneers in this field. Through his own experience of an injury and black belt and teacher of Judo he developed a method in which we can experience and understand the benefit of how awareness is key to any action.
